dc.description.abstract	신의료기술평가제도가 도입된 2007년 이래로 건강보험 신의료기술 급여결정과정에 근거중심의 의사결정을 통해 한층 업그레이드 된 제도가 정립된 건 사실이다. 그러나 7년여 동안의 제도 시행결과 근거가 부족한 의료기술에 대한 지원 필요성, 평가후 시장에 진입한 기술에 대한 사후관리를 위한 재평가 제도 도입, 신생유망기술탐색제도 도입 및 평가방법 및 절차의 개선 등의 필요성이 제기되었고 이의 개선방안을 마련하여 신의료기술평가제도가 한층 더 발전된 제도로 정착할 수 있도록 노력하고 있다. 그러나 실제 의료기술평가에 기초를 둔 의사결정을 실행하면서 부딪치게되는 여러 사회 정치적 및 경제적 제한으로 근거 중심 의사결정 및 실행이 쉽지는 않음을 경험하게 된다. 이에 의료기술평가의 개념에 대한 정부, 의료계, 법조계, 국민을 포함한 우리나라 사회에서의 이해와 수용이 필요하다. 향후 우리나라의 보건의료가 선진화되어 근거중심 의사결정이 보편화되고 당연시 되는 사회로 진화하기를 기대한다.
