dc.description.abstract	이 연구는 사회복지사의 클라이언트 폭력 피해에 대한 대처 경험을 조사할 목적으로 수행되었다. 연구 수행을 위하여 클라이언트 폭력 피해 경험이 있는 10명의 사회복지사를 대상으로 심층 면접을 실시하였고 근거이론방법을 적용하여 면접 내용을 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 클라이언트 폭력 피해를 경험한 사회복지사가 경험하는 중심 현상은 ‘통제하기 어려운 상황을 통제해 나가기’로 나타났고 이들은 이후 정서적 및 환경적 통제를 위한 다양한 대처전략을 모색하는 것으로 나타났다. 폭력 발생과 사회복지사들의 대처전략에 영향을 주는 맥락으로는 ‘위험 상황 대처역량’, ‘부족한 담당인력과 지원체계’ 등의 범주가, 중재 조건으로는 ‘개인적 지지망’, ‘기관 동료의 반응’, ‘치료지원 및 보상체계’의 범주가, 상호작용 전략으로는 ‘정서적 갈등 다루기’, ‘폭력 사건 처리하기’, ‘폭력 문제 연구하기’의 범주가 구성되었다. 이러한 이론적 모델 구성을 토대로, 클라이언트 폭력 피해 예방 및 사회복지사의 안전 구축을 위한 실천적 및 정책적 함의를 제언하였다.
dc.description.abstract	The goal of this study was to investigate the social worker’s experience in coping with the damage caused by client violence. Indepth interviews of 10 social workers with experiences of getting harmed from client violence were carried out in order to conduct the research and these interviews were analyzed with the grounded theory method. The results showed that the central phenomena experienced by social workers who had been harmed by client violence in the past was ‘trying to control a situation that is difficult to control.’ It appeared that these victims sought out various coping strategies to gain emotional and environmental control. The contexts that influenced origins of violence and social workers’ coping strategies were categories such as ‘ability to respond to dangerous situations’ and ‘lack of people in charge and support system.’ As for intervening conditions, there were ‘individual support network’, ‘agency coworkers’ reaction’ and ‘treatment support and compensation system.’ And finally for interaction strategies, there were ‘dealing with emotional conflicts’, ‘handling violent incidences’, and ‘studying on client violence’. Based on this theoretical model structure, practical and political implications for preventing and establishing protection for social workers against client violence were proposed.
